In the end, the main reason my criminal defense practice has become so successful is the professional relationship I cultivate with each client. When a client hires me, he or she deals only with me — and not with an associate or another lawyer.  I return all telephone calls and e-mails for clients myself -- generally the same day they are received.  I personally make sure that my clients understand the legal process every step of the way.
