Attorney Yannetti Prevails In Battle of the Lawyers
David Yannetti, a Massachusetts attorney who focuses his practice solely on criminal defense, won the award for “Most Compelling Argument” at last year’s Battle of the Lawyers event, held in November 2008.
In addition to his current impressive track record as a criminal defense attorney, Attorney Yannetti was a highly regarded assistant district attorney during the 1990′s. It was his closing argument as a prosecutor in the Jeffrey Curley murder case which won the evening. Prior to opening his law office in Boston, Yannetti was hand-selected by the Middlesex County District Attorney to try Jeffrey Curley’s case. In the end, both accused murderers were convicted and sentenced to state prison for life.
Since 1999, Yannetti has practiced exclusively criminal defense law and now represents clients in cases involving DUI/OUI, theft, murder and other charges. Altogether, Yannetti has compiled a case record which speaks for itself.
The “Battle of the Lawyers” is a yearly event, featuring the best and brightest of Massachusetts’ legal minds. The “battle” is judged by a panel of well-respected attorneys, judiciary and local celebrities — including politicians and reporters.
